Yes, dairy has been used in many traditional prasad recipes. But RASVRA asks a deeper question: Can devotion evolve without losing its sanctity?
Our vegan approach is rooted in ahimsa, the principle of non-violence that sits at the heart of dharma. In our tradition, every creature is sacred. The cow is revered as mother. The snake adorns Mahadev's neck. The creatures of creation are not separate from divinity, they are expressions of it.
Modern dairy production often involves practices that contradict the reverence our scriptures teach. Industrial farming, forced breeding, calf separation, and exploitation dishonor the very animals we call sacred.
RASVRA chose a different path:
- We use pure, plant-based ingredients that honor all life without compromise
- Our recipes follow satvik principles rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom and temple tradition
- We work with temple priests and traditional recipe keepers to ensure spiritual authenticity is maintained
- We prove that purity and compassion can coexist, that tradition can evolve without dilution
Many ancient satvik preparations were already plant-based: jaggery, coconut, tulsi, bel, cardamom, nuts, and sacred herbs. RASVRA honors this lineage while ensuring no life is harmed in the process.
Because when we worship Mahadev, we must honor all His creation.
